Doctor Lockhart
I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1977 with honors. After graduation and licensing, I continued my education through extensive post graduate study in the types of chiropractic methods that had been effective on my own health problems while in school. I achieved certification in several gentile advanced chiropractic methods. These methods include SOT, Motion Palpation, Activator, BEST, and finally Network Spinal Analysis. During my time at Palmer, a previous knee pain developed into intense sciatica (leg pain), shoulder and arm pain. I felt like I was literally dragging my left leg around. I was 28. I tried several different methods of chiropractic from doctors in the area looking for relief. The different methods provided some relief but that relief was not long lasting. The actual cause of my symptoms was not being addressed. I was very “disturbed” about not being able to find a solution. I really hate to be in pain. In desperation I went to see a doctor who was doing things differently. He was using a very gentle method with light contacts (no cracking) that worked directly with the tension in my nervous system. I thought he was nuts. How could such a light touch fix anything? I just didn’t make sense to me. I felt no immediate improvement after the first treatment. He assured me that my nervous system would eventually “get it”. The next day, I felt a definite change and after a few more visits I had no pain. I also felt better in lots of other ways. I felt less overall stress and tension. These remarkable results were achieved with very little force and seemed to last for long periods of time. There was also more progressive improvement over time. My nervous system was getting healthier. The cause was being addressed. Something was finally working! Since college, I have gravitated toward the types of chiropractic methods that helped me long ago and continue to help my family. Several years ago I was introduced to Network Spinal Analysis, the work of Dr. Donald Epstein. I feel that Dr. Epstein has developed the most advanced method of healing on earth. I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to this work and excited that I have the opportunity to help others through it. I also really enjoy working with people using Network Care because it’s honoring to the body/mind. We are supporting people in their own healing processes.
